typically...
if you or your spouse can get into any sort of credit union, you'll find their rates are pretty much always the lowest.
We do freelance work for a company where we're TECHNICALLY part-time employees, my wife put $25 into the credit union and got a 6.9%apr 4-year loan back when interest rates were near the high-point!

Acutally Audi had best financing for me...
I looked at financing my car through both Bank of America and my credit union, Aggieland CU, and Audi was able to come up with a rate that was the same as both. At one point I was surprised, but at the same, I wasn't since I'm 24 and this was the first car that I financed. I chose Audi so that I would have everything consolidated.
This was on a 4 year note with over 1/2 the money put down for a 24 year old with no prior car notes.

Sometimes, your dealer may be able to provide you with service in this area...
since it involves them getting a hold of money that you may be willing to spend.
In Rusnak's case, I was able to join a Credit Union (First Entertainment CU) even though that particular credit union is only available to be joined by FULL TIME employees in the entertainment industry, of which the companies want to participate. So, an employee of Sony Entertainment Studios, Warner Bros., etc. will be able to join this.
But how does Rusnak in particular figure into this? Well, since FECU is on their lot, they have a deal with Rusnak that offers Rusnak's potential customers to obtain financing through FECU.
I refinanced the Avant through FECU as they were able to offer me some ludicrously low rates, because according to them, I'd purchased 2 previous S4's and paid them off early :-).
In addition, now I have free ATM access throughout the US as the credit union themselves don't have any ATM's. And their fees are like I stepped back into the 60's.
So, imagine that, cheap rates and good service. I think I saw a pig just fly by!
