Default Bi-Amp for Bi-Turbo, am I the only one?

I've already got a PPI 1800 and 4800 picked out, you can't use a single amp in a twin turbo. You have to go BI-AMP!!!!!

Default Yeah, but you'd have to use one on the left and one on the right

I've already got 2 Orion 225-HCCA's that I've had for a while; I'll probably use those (too bad they're red and I've got Nogaro blue coming); but I'm not hooking them up left/right either, rather subs and full-range.

Default Re: Bi-Amp for Bi-Turbo, am I the only one?

If I were to go multi amps I would use 3 PC440's in 2 channel mode on a Dyne three way set up front, and an PC1800 or PC21400 on a pair of PPI Pro12's. But I dont want to weight down my car that much. I am trying to keep it simple but who knows.

Default Yikes, I used to cook hot dogs on the heat sinks of the 225's

Back when I competed in Car Stereo gang wars I used Orions and then Pheonix Gold amps. The PG amps were far more stable, I had an Orion 425HCCA amp that used to melt fuses. Of course when you run them at 1 ohm....

Default Fuses, I don't use no stinkin' fuses -- they melt; I use circuit breakers

Plus, I don't run 'em that hard anymore. I want to still be able to hear a little when I get old.
