A big thank you! Kent L, 2urbo. Aghane <long>
I intended to post this yesterday but @Home screwed the pooch!
I have been an avid AudiWorld follower since June of 1997 when it was A4.org. Quite frankly in June of 1997 I was not so sure about Audi's until I found A4.org and Seans A4 page. Both sites were extremely helpful in proving the A4 was a solid, fun and dependable car...Audi was no longer the car company it had been in the mid 80's.
Over the past four years I have come to the forums to search for answers whether they were about performance modifications or to see if anyone was going to get together over the weekend for a drive. Rarely has AudiWorld failed me for an answer to my question.
Last week while I was on AudiWorld I had seen a picture posted of the V1 remote display mounted on the steering column just below the trip computer. I responded to Kent L's post telling him how I had loved his display. Kent sent me an e-mail inviting me down to a friends house this past weekend offering to help position my remote display. I didn;t ask...he just offered.
I cruised down to Kent's buddys place and it happened to be 2urbo condo and Aghane was there as well.
When I arrived I saw two very nice Santorins parked outside of 2urbo's garage and a silver S4 in the garage. After introductions I took notice of what they working on...there were tools everywhere!!!! Aghane was adding a bulb to the rear foglight so that he has a fog light on each side rather that just one...something I may consider doing in the future. 2urbo was working away with a dremel tool on the hole that fits the little sidemarker...he was making it bigger so that he could fit the "All New" A4 sidemarker...it is a little bigger and has a more silverish look to it...kinda hard to tell from the picture but it looks real nice...we all agreed it would probably look great on a darker color:

Something that totally blew me away was how clean @urbo's engine was...the speedometer has 24,000 miles on it but the engine is immaculate!!! I just had to take pictures for all to see:

Not having alot of time to around Kent was nice enough to give me a precut plastic steering wheel column in exchange for mine...my V1 remote was where I wanted it within a matter of two minutes:

I can always depend on Audiworld for answers...it is really nice to meet those that help make AudiWorld a truly great website.

Nice to finally meet you.. :)
My apologies for the poor drivers down in South Orange County. . Glad to hear the remote display is working out well for you.
Always welcome. Usually doing bunch of stuff every weekend.
