Default blue smoke on cold start up?

ok,
unfortunately my 2001 s4 avant sat out for 3 nights here on the Maine coast with overnight temps hovering around 35.(FYI-just finishing the new garage at the moment)

so I have Miltek downpipes, catback, 26,000 miles and no other go fast goodies. I started the car , let idle for about two minutes and pulled out of the drive at a slight incline for first 300 yards with heavy blue smoke behind me.

On cold mornings car usually hesitates for first 300 yards anyhow, seems likes TB is adjusting then it's fine. This time it really hiccupped...

Pull into gas station after , let idle and continue. Car heats up ...no smoke...runs great.

Any ideas?

would have to say it's not the turbo-no loss of power, no metal on metal whine, really no indication of any big uhh-ohs..

Default LOL. I'm glad I could help.

I went through the same problems. Now I have custom turbos. The blue smoke was good signs of bad.

Default Hmmmmm . .I once put a smoke screen on a 1/4 mi. stretch of road with white smoke from my '91

Accord after one piston ring was cracked and the other three were burning off 20% of the oil in each cylinder. Got that one taken care of in court !
