Default Bolt missing from bumper shock flange

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/12726/100_0030.jpg"></center><p>
In my quest to access the snub mount to tighten the bolt the mechanic forgot to tighten, I get to the point where I remove the bumper shocks and notice that a bolt from the lower right of this three bolt triangle is missing. My question - is this bolt important enough that I need to find a replacement, or are two bolts good enough?

Also, is it necessary to remove these three bolts to move the radiator to access the snub mount? Because right now, I don't have the torx bit to fit these bolts, and I can't budge the radiator (at all). Does anyone know what size torx I need?

Thanks.

Default i would def put a bolt there, doesn't have to be a torx bolt..

just go to any hardware store and get a bolt that fits (take one of the original bolts with u-match length/threads) And i think the torx on there now are 6 or 8mm. I would just go to autozone and get a cheap metric set, they include like 4-12mm. You'll need them eventually.

well, there's a hole for a third one, but no bolt there, as you can see in the pic.

Default So, you're saying I can take the rad out without removing any of those bolts?

How? I've done everything in the APR instructions short of removing those bolts, and it won't budge.

Default Re: Bolt missing from bumper shock flange

i just recently had my bumper off and noticed that i was missing one. the bolt from the dealer was only like 7 or 8 bucks not big deal but i would deffently replace it.

i would just pick up a set of torxs i think i used a 20 25 30 40 45. i think those bolts were 45 though.

iirc i think there are 2 bolts on each side under the head lights that are 30 that have to be removed to move the lock carrier.
