Default BOOM!! My drivers side turbo blew 60 miles after geting my car back from the dealer.

It's one thing after the other. I was driving home from work going about 65 mph ,I downshifted into 5th and gave it some throttle and poof. 0 boost . I thought it was a hose at first. But when I slowed down, the turbo sounded like a bicycle wheel, with a card stuck in the spokes, and smoke was coming out of the tailpipe. This was with a stock ecu BTW. Now I have to tow it back there again, and hope they cover it ,and not give me any ****. The tech did have the entire top half of the intake off. Hmmmmm

Default This has reached the point of F'ING ABSURDITY!!!

I for one would not be able to make the decision of an Audi bi-turbo purchase with a clear concious at this time. Just reading about these problems day in and day out makes me sick. Massive power on tap aside, who can deal with all of these headaches? Can you say RECALL?

What is the deal with the turbos? Is it the heat? We are in the hottest f*cking part of the year now with 100s not uncommon in many parts of the U.S. How many turbos are blowing in Canada or Europe?

Hope your baby gets well soon...

I think I'll buy a Z06 Vette. No turbos to blow!! ( no awd) Maybe not.
