Default boost question...
i jsut installed the vent boost gauge from AWE and it reads about 17 psi peak boost. I have a GIAC chip. I was just wondering what that max boost is for our K03 turbo's? If it is more than 17 would it hurt to get a boost controller and set it to like 20?

Default I'm doing it. Turbos blow on stock boost, so there is no real "safe range", but I've seen 25 psi
on my K03's

Default I didnt think they would go that high. Ive seen 21 but thats
with 4 people in the car in the summer.

Default Why exactly is that? I have an MBC alone and upon installing it i set it around 22
Once I did see a 25 psi spike on my gauge and have plenty of logs of 23 psi. Want to see?

Default You can make them, but it's a retard move and completely useless. The can't produce
any better at 20+psi than there are at 19. It just going to kill them very quickly, with no added power.
