Just took the S4 in for service, and the advisor told me that they only replace the pads if they're 2mm or less...is that right? Somehow I thought it was 5mm or less? Am I mistake? help!

Would not replace me pads until the sensors came on. The worst part was that the sensor finally came on 1 week after my warrantee was up. Tyrol took care of me and changed my rotors and pads (front and rear). Filed a complaint with Audi and everything. Only Tyrol will touch my car from now on.

2mm was what I was told also. 5mm is ~50% wear.
