Broken brake hard line... suggestions?
I was changing my pads and rotors today, and managed to break one of the brake hardlines (right front caliper, lower connection). I think the hardline had been bent at some point in the past as it was directly in front of the lower caliper bolt. I bent it out of the way, and it cracked right where the line goes in to the caliper.
Can I just buy a fresh line from the dealer? or can I just cut the line, bend it back and put a fresh end on the line? There's enough extra to do this, I believe. Are there any guides on how to do this?
Also- I'll obviously have to bleed the brake system now- what fluid is preferred right now? I have some Motul 500 (about 1.25L) sitting around, but I have to check and see if that is compatible.
thanks.

Defintely can get that part from the dealer. Make sure the bracket that holds this line to the back
of the hub is in place. My dealer left that bracket off, and my hard line broke while driving - complete loss of braking as you can well imagine (all the fluid drained out). This helped make my case that convinced AoA to send me my "little" check. =D
