Default California/NE Trading Region emssions

Can anyone tell me exactly how these extra emissions work? Do they effect the performance of the car (HP, torque, 0-60, etc.) The best deals I've found have been in NJ but I live in Washington State and am cautious about buying a car from someone 3000 miles away that have different regulations than my state.

Thanks for the help!

Default The US cars are all just about the same...

when in comes to emissions. I am from MA and living in CA which seems to be the strictest state and cars from other states pass easily here. All US cars seem to come 50-state legal; there really isn't a difference.

I will be receiving my car in a month. I ordered it in NJ and will be riving across te country to SF. The car was $5K cheaper in NJ, plus this is our 8 Audi in the family. I just moved here s Iwanted to use the same guys and also experience a great trip across the country. As for NE and Cal standrds, they are supposedly the same. As for Cal, we do not need to be cautious about bringing in and out of state car since they have repealed the smog fee. I'll letyou know how it goes!
