Calling all piggie pipe users....
So, I just found out about piggie pipes. For those who have them or know someone who does, need lots of info:
-how are they?
-any reliability issues or general problems?
-any adjustments or corrections had to be done after first install with the pipes themselves or engine or had to use VAG COM Tool at all?
-is the sound really loud?
Also, anyone have experience with both piggie pipes and aftermarket dp's like APR's, AWE Tuning's, etc.?
Anyone with them or know how to install them in NC or nearby?
Okay, I think that is it. I hope that I get some responses that are both insightful and helpful.
Thanks.

Whaddup...
-Wonderful.
-No issues whatsoever.
-No adjustments since they are stock downpipes. Just make sure to relocate the O2 sensors.
-Not loud at all.
Same as aftermarket dps to me. Maybe a 5-10 HP difference but you'll be hard pressed to feel or see the difference there.

Piggie pipe user & former AWE DPs user here! (m)
Piggie pipe and AWE DPs work about the same. I ran AWE DPs for quite some time and I also ran AWE DPs with testpipes for a more than a month, too.
Of course testpipes felt even more responsive than ones with cat. converter, however it stunk and was very loud! (loud was good at times)
But you can't go wrong with piggie pipe. :-)

Okay, got several questions
-What is DTC? Gosh, I don't know all these acronyms folks use
-So what is the overall advantage/incentive to get aftermarket dp's or piggie pipes?
-I read that APR's dp's do not have a relocated O2 sensor. Can I just cut out my cats and upgrade my APR chip to Stage II+ and have no problems (do cut out work at local race performance shop)? Or would I get check engine light or other errors?
-BIG QUESTION: in addition to or instead of modded dp's, what other BIG mod for performance can I do with my ECU chipped ride and after I add Tip chip and exhaust? I want to get my ride as fast as possible without serious engine mod or spending lots of money (that I don't have).
