Default Does driving thru Indiana count? ...

I'll be in Greencastle for DePauw U. reunion June 1-2, plus family farms in Shelby County either before, after or both; several times a year overall. I'm there enough to notice fewer fern (foreign) cars than most places, but there are lotsa pickups! Except for university towns, Indy and Fort Wayne, it's a pretty rural state, which isn't the usual place to find fast German sedans. (I live outside Detroit but am in Florida for the winter season.)

Default Sorry to hear about that...

The DePauw thing, I mean. At least you made some better choices once moved on from college. (Just got my Wabash plate today at BMV, so I'm feeling a bit of the bell rivalry...sorry

Anyway, you're mostly right about Indiana. I had the good fortune of growing up north of Indy. My mother had an '86 5000 Quattro Turbo, then a 200 Quattro Turbo (as well as Porsche- 914, 944, and a 930). One of the nice things about owning a fine rare car is that you can smoke Mustangs, Camaros, etc. and they don't have a clue of what you are capable.

Anyway, if you come back for Monon or other events, we should have a Wabash-DePauw Audi enthusiast meeting.

Default A DePauw-Wabash Audi enthusiast meeting at a Monon Bell game sounds good! ...

I'll ask about the date of the next game in ... where, Crawfordsville or Greencastle? November something. Did you guys win last time? I know, I should know, but I do recall a (ahem) long DePauw winning streak...anyone else interested?

You'd think "the best player in college basketball" could make a free-throw. ****.
