can anyone suggest an affordable jack that will get under a low s4?
all the ones on the sears website look too bulky to fit under a low car. i also don't want to be using the jack in the trunk.

use the jack in the trunk to start, then slide under a good jack.
thats what i always did on lowered cars. or drive your car onto 2x4's. youll get an extra 2 inches of room to work with.

note taken... i'll try the board thing with a taller sears jack... is $40 too cheap?

I can't stand those cheap hydraulic jacks. Takes like 30 pumps to get the car up...
and the jack pad area is always too small.
