can i pull the rear part of the fog light housing off without breaking something?

it looks like i can. the reason being i had a bulb explode in there and now there is dust and glass stuck everywhere. i would like to clean it out before putting in a new bulb.

I took a fog light apart once, unintentionally. It is designed (m)

to have the back part removed.

yeah i ended up doing it. i think i got it leveled right. i hope it is still sealed tight though

Just make sure that giant O-ring is clean and the mating surfaces, you'll be fine.
