Default You chip needs to be MobileTuner enabled for that to work.
You should be able to use VAG-Com cable AFAIK, but I highly doubt you have a MobileTuner enabled chip.

By MobileTuner enabled...do you mean having the IBE switcher?

Default One has nothing to do with the other AFAIK.
From what I've heard, there are non IBE chips with MobileTuner enabled and there are IBE chips without MobileTuner enabled.

Default I'm going to agree with you and say that my chip probably isn't MobileTuner enabled, but...(m)
...is there a way to get it updated so that it is, or would I have to buy an entire new chip?

Talk to a GIAC dealer. I have absolutely no idea. I like Lemmiwinks' layout more than MobileTuner.

Default I downloaded Lemmiwinks and MT, but haven't really tried either on my car yet...(m)
...does Lemmiwinks work with the USB VAG-COM cables? If so, any suggestions as far as tweaks for an A-Box (only performance upgrades so far are the v.8 X-Chip and Bosch 710N's)?
