So I have searched and I am 99.9% sure I will be OK here but just want to check ;-). I have found a set of Compomotive MO's (love these wheel, have a set on my Ur-q) that are 18X8 with a ET of 35 and a hub bore of 57.1MM and supposedly built for a B5 S4. Right now I am on stock suspension but will be going to coilovers this spring. I should be fine with 235/40/18's ?

ET37 would be better. But slightly agressive camber - negative camber will save you from rubbing. Some also roll the fender lip a bit. You will see that the front fender has a 1/2" lip / edge that protrudes toward the tire.

19x8 wheels ET35 w/ Yoko AVS Sports and Nitto 555s w/ a lowered ride height. With BFG KDWs, it rubbed like a SOB as soon as I left the tire place. Had to roll the fenders up front. Ended up runnig Falken FK451s GRBeta which ran on the narrow side. All tires were the same 235/35/19 spec, but actually [hysical tire width was different w/ all of them.
