Here's a pic of the G12+, just in case anyone wanted to see it:

Uh i don't think the bottle on the left is G12+ . . .
worldimpex comes up with it as "CH coolant"
look at the "applications" . . . . blue reminds me a lot of G11.<ul><li><a href="http://www.worldimpex.com/item_detail.html?sku=9332">http://www.worldimpex.com/item_detail.html?sku=9332</a</li></ul>

Hmm. It's listed as "amine phospate and nitrile free". Plus I thought G11 was green?!
I paid $50 for the crap, lol. Oh well. Looking up the PN further it seems you're right. (Cursing VW parts counter guy) Damn. Well, G11 is gentler than regular G12 anyhow, but has a 2yr service life AND G12+ and G11 are fully compatible, go figure.

Nah, I was actually trying to find G12+, but the local dealerships didn't know what I was talking...
about.
I was trying to find the G12Plus part number online. When I searched here, I found the above pic I posted as well as the info below. I wanted to see what the P/N was on the pink jug, which is really why I asked for the photo of that (to see how it fits into the info below).
<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/109182.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/109182.phtml</a>

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2415951.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2415951.phtml</a>
Part Number: G012A8FA4 (w/ photo, however the photo shows the above P/N - [G012A8FM1])
However, when I search for "G012A8FM1" on <a href="https://www.1stvwparts.com/part_number.html" target="_blank">1stvwparts.com</a> website, I get:
Partnumber G012A8FM1 was superceded!
Old Partnumber: G012A8FM1
New Partnumber: G012A8FA4
Searching for "G012A8FM1" on WorldImpex.com, it returns both the G12 and G12+ products:
<a href="http://worldimpex.com/search_by_partno.html?searchmode=partno&partno=G01 2A8FM1&x=30&y=9" target="_blank">http://worldimpex.com/search_by_partno.html?searchmode=partno&partno =G012A8FM1&x=30&y=9</a>

FYI, searching for "G012A8FA4" on Worldimpex only returns the G12 jug.
Same G12+ bottle pictured on ECS' site:
<a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Volkswagen&engine=1.8T&model =Golf%20IV&submodel=&category=Maintenance&subcateg ory=Engine">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Volkswagen&engine=1.8T&a mp;model=Golf%20IV&submodel=&category=Main tenance&subcategory=Engine</a>
So, the questions that I have remaining are:
1.) What's the P/N of the Pink jug? (it seems to be G012A8FA4)
2.) If G012A8FA4=G12 and G012A8FM1=G12+, then why does 1stvwparts.com say that G012A8FM1=G12+ was superceded by G012A8FA4=G12? That sounds backwards if G12+ is newer stuff.
3.) Is G12+ really new stuff, or is it old?
4.) Does G12+ only come in 1.5L containers?

Found some more info on G12+...
Seems the back label says it can be mixed with G11 or G12. This surely makes it seem that G12+ came out after G12. I don't know why 1stvwparts lists the supercede the way they do - must be a mistake.
Although, I do note the below talks about "G012A8FA1", not "G012A8FA4" nor "G012A8FM1" as discussed above. I would guess that the last # is for the size of the container, which would then seem that this is talking about the P/N which I thought was the pink stuff. Grrr! more confused now.
"G12 Plus Coolant Additive
VW Part Number: G 012 A8F A1
Mat. Number: G 012 A8F 01
Comes in a bottle that holds 1500ml (50oz), as shown by the graduations on
the side.
Has VW, SEAT, Skoda and Audi logos on the top of the label.
Rear label states (in a number of languages) - yes it says filled-for-live.
GB: Suitable as a "filled-for-live" solution for all types of engines
G12 Plus can be mixed with the products G11 and G12. The product should be
used all-year-round to provide the necessary protection against frost,
overheating, corrosion and calcium deposits. Use according to instructions
only.
Harmful if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin
and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this
container or label.
There are also mixing instructions, according to expected temperature.
For temperatures down to -24?C (-11?F) Mix two parts of G12 Plus to three
parts water (this is what I've used)
For temperatures down to -36?C (-32?F) Mix one part of G12 Plus to one part"<ul><li><a href="http://www.gti-vr6.net/library/engine/G12_Plus_Coolant_Additive.html">http://www.gti-vr6.net/library/engine/G12_Plus_Coolant_Additive.html</a</li></ul>
