Just noticed this moring, when the light cought the trunk lid of my beloved Nogaro Blue S4 just right, that there were like 1000 little freaking champagne bubble looking things in the paint.

Only viewable from an extreme angle in the right light, looks the bubbled clear coat, but beneath the surface. After spending hours polishing and waxing my car this is really annoying, anyone else notice this?

Thats what "pearl effect" is in paint.

And they do not cover the entire car, or even the whole trunk lid, there is a clear demarcation for where they end.

Jonny was complaining about the clear coat finish,yours sounds like the pearl base coat.
