Check engine light on....then turned off after a few days...???...
I had a constant (not flashing) CEL on for a few days...just came on for no apparent reason, didn't drive it for those days...drove it around, then turned off. I find this really weird...anyone experience the same thing?

The beginning of the Coolant Temp sender issue IIRC. Soon the choaking starts $6 part....
3 minute repair. VAG it to see if the sender is under/ over reporting the temp. Other (potentionally more probable alternative) could be a loose O2 sensor as well. Bimmers have that CEL ALOT!!!
