Default Chip on 00 with 63,xxx

Im a noob to the forum and have replaced hoses and gotten hx diverter valves. Now i think its ready to chip. Im pretty set on the 93 octane chip by APR and am hopefully gonna buy it used with an ECU and trade for my stock ECU. Is buying these chips used any different from buying them new. Im pretty sure my car wasnt driven too hard the last 60,000 miles since i bought it from a guy who was basically in his death bed. But what do you guys think about chipping a car like this with this many miles (how will it affect the turbos)? Ive learned from searching that the turbos can go at anytime, so if thats the case, has anyone chipped at similar mileage, and how has ur car fared? Thanks for your help!

Default Russian Roulette with Turbo's

Some guys have over 100k miles chipped, some guys blow turbos after 30-40k miles. So really, if you plan on keeping the car for a while (3+ years) you might want to save up for K04's ($4-$5,000 and change)

Used chip is no different from new unless there's been programming revisions or it's fried

Default No problems buying a used ECU - provided that it is soldered correctly. I don't trust

socketed chips...

Default Wanna buy mine? Multiple programs and it's faster than APR! Very smooth also! I use ...

to have APR v5.0 (newest version).

I switched to GIAC and it is MUCH faster! I have the logs to prove it if you are interested.

I'm going Stage 3 in 2 weeks and i don't need the multiple programs anymore.

You can buy the flash loadre rfor $150 to switch programs and have stock, 93, 100 and valet.

Interested? E-mail me. I'll take your ECU in trade + $$.

Get the bi-pipe for piece of mind. Several people have had issues without it.

Default Chipped at 102k actually. I bought mine used, after i sold my stock ECU only paid like $300

I've had no problems and would recommend buying used.

If you're going Stage 3, why are you selling?
