Default Chip Question

Getting rid of my Wetterauer chip and going for APR. I'm also purchasing an additional ECU.

Question: Which ECU should I have APR convert. The one that was already played with or the new one?

Will the dealer be able to tell if the new ECU I am getting is not the one that came with the car?

I would rather play with the one that was already worked on but I don't want the dealer to know that i'm using a new ECU.

Also, do you think there will be any problems with the chip or with APR converting an ECU that was already modified?

Thanks

Default for the re-chipping...have them do the one that was played with,

at least you'll have a perfectly new ECU in your hands still.

they won't be able to tell that your new stock ECU is different...just to be safe, you could even recode it with their workshop number with the VAG-COM s/w

and there won't be any problems with APR converting your old one

Default just open up the engine controller, hit the recode button, leave the factory coding, but

look at the other controllers workshop number beforehand, then enter it.
