Chipped AA box with APR yesterday. Now starter in engine won't turn over with remote start. Ideas?

Chipped AA box with APR yesterday. Now starter in engine won't turn over with remote start. Ideas?
Car starts up fine with key. But when remote start is activated, everything starts to work fine but the engine won't turn over and the starter in the engine draws out and dies. I don't have APR anti-theft either. TIA
