To clear bra or not to clear bra? Getting practically my whole car
painted after that car wash incident. Should I get it clear bra right away? What does it look like on silver? I know on different colors the clear bra disappears and others you can see it and the line and its starts to look nasty. What's your guys opinion?

wait 4-6 weeks for paint to cure. have it custom fit to hide most lines, except for this one:

You want the paint to cure before installation
If the paint is not cured you run the risk of it peeling the paint off if there is a problem with the clear bra. It also does not allow the paint to cure properly if its put on right away. Typically you have to wait 30 days but if the shop doing the work bakes the paint you can put it on in 3-5 days.
On a silver car it will be near invisible. If you want the best looking material look at the Venture Shield or the LLumar. Both are much cleaner looking and stronger than the 3M. It is the best thing you can do to the car while the paint is freash and chip free.
