Clear chip protector?

Clear chip protector?
I just ordered a new S4 and the dealer had a clear chip protector which looked quite good. It covered the bumper, front of hood, and front wheel flares. It was only visible at the seam where it ends. Anyone have experience with this (it was about $500 installed).
Thanks,
Ken

If you don't mind forking out an extra ~$500....

A bunch of us have gotten the stuff from them, which is different from the 3M material.
Why the extra ~$500?

All the paint you see here is covered, as well as the headlights and fogs. No seams. Those two air bubbles at the side edge of the hood go away within a week or two (this pic was taken a few days after the install), and the rippling gets smoother over time. (shown with optional +5hp sticker =) which you don't have to put on if you don't want to)

This is after they were done doing this...

It's not a pre-cut kit, it's custom installed for each individual customer. Also, great customer service. They redid my hood a few weeks ago because it got pockmarked/etched with something (think I got stuck behind some sort of construction/repaving/etc truck), and when they took it off, the paint underneath was perfectly fine (it'd been on for about 7 months). It's a bit pricey at about $1k, but well worth it IMO. Thing is they're based out of Utah. Not sure where you are, but they'll fly out if you can get like 8+ people to buy. They've come out to the SF bay area every few months over the last year or so (and I think someone was trying to get another group buy here)
