how easy was it to remove the amber piece from the stock lights?

pretty easy...took about two hours to do both. Driver side was easier to get out

definately a good mod, just don't be too agressive when whittling away the tabs..

hmmm...i helped install a friends euro lights and i dont think he will be needing...

the stock lights...maybe i will test drive it on em.... =) thanks for the help....

i just read the tech, any more pics would be great! also did you slide the amber pieces out of hole where the bulb sits?

Not yet...

I ran my GTi without a front plate for years. Got two tickets over that time.

I figure I will get the same with the S4.

I got more grief over a tinted platic license plate cover on the back then no front.
