Default clutch problems??

anyone else had problems with their clutch? they just replaced the tranny about 1000 miles ago under warranty and now the clutch is shot. they say the clutch is not a warranty issue and is due to abuse. it is NOT abuse! but... how can i prove that? the car only has 4900 miles. the first time i took the car in for the tranny they could not find the problem and told me to drive the car. i drove untill it seized up then the finally replaced it. would'nt this cause excess wear on the clutch? they say no. any suggestions.

call AoA or your rep.don't worry the dealer will replace it,just call customer service, they will be in the dealers *** before you can hang up.they are pissed because it's no walk through the park to pull the trans out.

Default The warranty guide that comes with your Owner's Manual packet outlines coverage ...

... and the clutch is listed explicity under the Audi Advantage section. The basic Audi warranty does not cover "normal wear and tear" parts such as brake pads, wiper blades, and clutch disc. However, Audi Advantage -- included with all US-spec Audis -- covers these wear-n-tear parts, and the clutch friction disc (or whatever) is listed explicitly in the table of coverage.

Your dealer is either monumentally uninformed ... or full of ****.
