Default clutch swap

im starting to think twice about dropping the whole motor and doing the turbos as well with the clutch due to money "k04 upgrade" ,

is it that much harder to drop just the tranny instead of the whole motor and all?

TIA

Default I am thinking about dropping the tranny also ...

because of a RMS leak. I have all the tools and parts now (RS4 clutch kit, RMS, G12 coolant) just need some tips on how to remove the driver's side front O2 sensor. I have read some of the DIY down pipe replacement but still having problems. I have a 22mm crow foot and a 22mm O2 socket but still a PITA.
Thanks

anything special? thanks

Do it - you'll gain confidence for when it comes time to do the turbos (or find your limits).

Default Once the sub-frame is loose and tranny mounts out, the tranny will drop down in the rear...

...just use long extensions to get at the bolts. I pretty much followed Bentley, except for the part about new pressure plates having the SAC mechanism properly set from the factory - they lie.

Default to get at the drivers side o2 sensor...

Go at it from the passenger side with the y-pipe removed. It's awkward, but do-able with a long extension and plenty of compound blaster.

Use a crowsfoot, I got nowhere with an o2 socket.
