Cobalt SS = 1, S4 = 0 [real street racers need not click]
When the light turned green, the Cobalt was about 30-40 feet back slowing to stop. The two lanes merged a few blocks ahead; I accelerated halfheartedly, shifted into second early and maybe two-thirds throttle.
He gunned it, and when he was even with me (about 35 mph) I finally floored it and we were about even, but as my mighty MTM boost tapered off, he had me by about half a car length at the end of second. That was enough for me since there were cops in the area, and street racing is bad, m'kay?
Those Cobalts sound like a buzzing wasp.
TC relegates me to mid-6 second FATS; I consider myself Stage 1-. Planning on Stage 3 this winter.

I was challenged by one a month ago, never high in the rev range and destroyed him
I let up and he screamed by me. The look on his face when he looked over was a "that's bull****,nobody beats my cobalt like that" look.

I passed one yesterday that was trying to not be passed. It was in 3rd from about 60. I started
from behind him in the right lane so I got the jump on the down shift but it wasn't to much of a problem. They do sound like ****.
