Coilover decision...
My V2s are exhausted and I am looking to change up the handling a bit. My choices are either:
1) refurbish V2s and try to get stiffer springs
2) Vogtland GTs
3) cough up the cash for KW V3s
From your experiences, what is the best option for aggresive street driving combined with maybe 2 or 3 days at the track each year? After using the V2s, I feel that the springs are too soft for my driving style. The Vogtlands are attractive due to the high spring rates in the rear - and i wouldnt mind a bit less understeer in the car.

Your situation is like mine, which is exactly why I got the Vogts GTs...
I wanted better handling on the road, and occasional track use probably once or twice a year.
Now all I have to do is install them!!!!

Talk to Stasis about their Track Sports
I was very happy with mine (500/600) after switched from the Vogtlands. It was a good "wife approved" ride, but something in the 600/700 range should be more appropriate for an aggressive street setup.
And.... they're adjustable!

For aggressive street / track use, Ohlins are amazing if you can swing it

The Vogtlands have progressive rate spring - but they're coupled with linear dampers - not digressiv
digressive dampers which is the only way to properly have damping rates increase as spring rates increase.
I just pretty much have a thing against progressive rate springs. So I would skip on the Vogtlands.

I love my Track Sports
for aggressive street and 2-3 track days a year. I have 600/700 springs and they handle very nice on the street.
If I had the money I would do Ohlims for easier adjustabilty and from riding in one the dampining is smoother than Koni's or Vogtlands.
