Is it common knowledge that the next RS4 will be a twin turbo V6?
And that the A3 will be coming to the US, but not the S3 (which I really like, having seen it at the Audi factory last May).

Now let's take a history lesson for a second, shall we?
UrS6: 227 HP S6 Plus: 320 HP
S2 : 227 HP RS2 : 315 HP
B5S4: 250 HP RS4 : 380 HP
C5S6: 340 HP RS6 : 450 HP
B6S4: 344 HP B6RS4 : ??? HP
Keeping this in mind, it makes more sense that a slightly detuned RS6 motor will make it in the S4 or something with power hovering around 400+. Somehow a jump of 40HP just won't sell enough cars, IMO.
Besides, you KNOW you want the 4.2T. :-)
