Default Commute w/ a Carrera

On my morning commute on Hwy 43, new black Porsche pulls in front of me, figure it was a Boxster, get excited to try and dust this thing... Took me a while but I realize I'm following a Carrera as I get close enough to read it (they really need to style them differently!).

We weave thru some traffic, as I shadow his moves, minivan pulls aside and I realize he wants some fun. Layed on the throttle and trailed him tightly. He got a teeny bit of separation, but I probably should've downshifted. Regardless was a (somewhat) safe distance to be following. Stuck behind some more traffic... Eventually lane opens up, we jam it again, soon flying around 90. Screech, cars again. I'll trade for his brakes. I was wiggling around, oops.

We weaved thru more traffic, and as he takes the left and I the right, he waves out the window, I wave back. Cool guy. Wish I could do that every day... (what is the site of the Porsche board?)

My APR S4 really hung w/ him, I was impressed. I'm sure if we had some more road to work with, he could've gotten the better of me, but I doubt I'd have been embarrassed.

Much fun, nice to appreciate other cars (both him and me...)

Leslie,

The back view of the new Carrera is completely different than the back view of a Boxster..

The front view looks similar though

Default Yeah, he turned in front from an intersection so I was seeing his front initially

I should've known regardless, but I was expecting it to be a Boxster, given they are much more common. Hadn't had my coffee yet, still in my morning daze. Cured that soon enough...
