Default is it complicated to change the "chip" out?

hello:

I just bought my beautiful YELLOW S4 about 1 week ago. After reading about these chips, is it hard to switch? Where does it go? I'm a new-bee so thanks for bearing with me. Thank you!

Default It's easy to do with basic tools...

Having done it a few times now, I can probably swap my ECU in a grand total of 5 min. The first time took about 15 min.

Link to the ECU swapping FAQ at Audiworld.

Default Addendum to that, get a small ratch....

They sell them at sears, it fits perfectly for the infamous 5th screw... If you need the measurements let me know...
