coolant temperature sensor replacement

Does anyone have any advice on coolant temperature sensor replacement. Someone told me that the down pipe would have to be removed to access the sensor.
Point me in the right direction.

I heard it was a simple job.... I need to have mine replaced also.

Had mine replaced under warranty..

after ck. engine light appeared. How did you know that your's was gone?

Simple job... but buy some G4 to replace lost coolant.

The sensor is located at the back right (passenger) side of the engine compartment. It is inserted into the side of a metal tube from the top. There are 2 sensors on the car, on opposite sides of the engine compartment... the one that fails most often is the passenger side and has 4 connectors on the plug.
