Default coolent sensor voltage too high code - No CEL

What does this mean?!

Do I have the wrong part? I installed the one from ECS Tuning and then one from PAP Parts, and they're both the green birkson sensor. Any ideas? Same result from both.

My coolant consistantly reads one bar to the left of vertical, stabilized, oil tempurature is normal. So i'm pretty sure it's not the thermostat. If I stop for long enough it'll go vertical but never past until I start moving again.

They both register ambient air tempurature the same (I checked via vagcom before I started my car)

I'm clueless as to what to do and the nearest dealer is 3 hours away here in florida.
