Cost to replace fender? Estimate seems low!
Idiot 16 year old in a rusted out 83 caprice backed into my drivers side fender yesterday. Only the fender was damaged - no damage to bumper or door. The quote to replace the fender came to a grand total of $820.
Does this seem low? According to the estimate the left side fender panel only cost $264.50. Thought it would be higher. The rest is pretty much labor and paint. Thanks in advance for your reply.

that sounds about right. the fenders on this car are not difficult to replace. (more)
there is one thing that you need to make sure of. make sure that you are getting an AUDI fender and not and after market one for the A4. I am sure that the after market ones are good, but i like OEM stuff...

They will only be using Audi orignal Parts. As it turns out, the fender.....more.....
..the fender is the same as the A4, but it must be "worked" or modified slightly at the body shop to fit the S4. This according to Wendy at Laurel Audi.
