I have the h&r's, and they just feel too soft..
1)What color are the springs (for those of you with h&r coilovers?
2) Does anyone know if Vortrag's springs (for their coilovers) will fit on H&R's coilovers? In other words, are the spring interchangable for the h&r and vortrag coilovers?

H&R also makes a stiffer (audi cup) setup with grey springs (650 & 530#)

Don't think you want to do that with the Vortrag/Hypercoil springs. Keep in mind, the Koni shocks used in the Vortrag kit are not the off-the shelf sport shocks. They are custom parts direct from Koni's mfg. plant which Vortrag spec'd and have Vortrag's part number engraved on them.
The springs were meant to work with the shocks that were valved to the right spec. Then they are adjusted to the specific rates of spring you are using.
If you start messing around with pieces from here and pieces from there you may end up with a mismatch which could adversly affect desired performance.
Do a complete H&R setup or a complete Vortrag setup as the parts were designed to work together harmoniously as kits.
