Just got a call from the dealer on some repairs they say I have to pay for out of pocket since they claim these repairs are not convered under the certified pre-owned warranty.. does this make sense to people?

A) Are these items definitely not covered? The dealer says they are "wear and tear" and not covered and B) Do these prices sound right for a 2000 S4?

1. Tire rod ($270)
2. CV Boot ($350)
3. Allignment ($120)

yep everything but the alignment...dont' let them shaft you with that, take it somewhere else

The fact that it isn't "wear and tear" will be a tough sale....

no that stuff is definitely not covered, either have the dealer do it or take it somewhere else

Same here. Need a new right tie rod and dealer said it's not covered.

yea they are all wear items..I paid out of pocket for the boots myself
