Current testimonials/ experiences on the H&R Ultra suspension setup for the S4 sedan?
The archives leave me with inconclusive information....
Anyone have this setup or have had it?
What are your thoughts on this suspension?
Going to use it for mostly spirited street driving....
Thanks to all...

I have the regular H&R Streets on my sedan, and they are great for street driving. However...
they are a bit soft when you go over big dips. I feel that they need to be stiffer considering the lowered stance they provide. You can definitely feel the progressive springs working when you enter a corner, and in that respect they are very good. I bet once I throw a set of H-Sports on them it will feel 100x better.
Bottom line: The only gripe I have with them is that they are not damping/rebound adjustable, and that they are a bit soft on large dips.
Otherwise, they are a great street coilover setup.

I have the Ultras and like it. Nothing to compare it with but...
It rides great for everyday driving in my opinion. I've never tracked the car...
The only downside is that I've had to replace 2 struts so far and they were 400 a piece. It's under warranty but it takes forever to get refunded. Waiting on a refund right now. Last one that blew took 3 months to get refunded.
It may depend on your location. Some of the roads I have to take to and from work are real **** and gives the suspension a workout.
They've been on the car for about 3 years.
