<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/13039/konicoil.jpg"></center><p>Finally had some time and warm weather, so out to the garage I went to start fabbing up the rear shocks for the Avant.

Ground Control came through with 4 sleeves and 4 lower perches for $140.... not bad.

The shock had it's paint stripped... Then pressure was relieved from the shock, the fluid drained, and then out came the trusty ol' MIG (gas converted). A small ring was welded to lower section of the body, voila, a stable spot for the sleeve to rest. The results are in the picture. I may change the lower bushing some to something a tad larger, maybe the stock unit, and the Koni snubber will probably be replaced by the stock long progressive bumper.

My only gripe? Why O' why do those damn sleeves come anodized in that deep burgundy color, yuck!
