no excessive turbo noise, yet! car goes in tomorrow a.m.

Limp mode never triggered the CE light for me.

already had that replaced once before, buy yet it's another possibility

Could be that the problem caused the CE light AND the Limp mode.

check "F" boot on throttle body and the actual throttle body boot
