Dang! Almost forgot to post this: S4MadMan: 1, Black SL-55AMG: 0!!!

Yesterday night I pull up to a red light on Valley Blvd. Cross street, San Gabriel Blvd. In the slow lane is a dumped, pimp, black SL-55AMG with 20" Lowenhart LDR bLING-bLINGs. It looked just like the car above.
I give the guy a thumbs-up and he does the same. But then here comes the fun part, the guy in the AMG puts the gear into neutral and starts to rev on me! :-P At first I wasn't going to race but then I thought about the repercussion: I would post on AW that I didn't run against an SL-55AMG, I would be disowned. :-P
Anyway, what the heck, ESP off, waiting for the light...it goes green, I launch hard and get outta the hole well. I grab 2nd gear and at ~50mph I look back, and the AMG is about 6 cars back and smoking its tires. :-P

I slow down to 35mph and wait for the SL to catch up. He pulls up and says "Damn quattro! Nice launch. I went up in smoke. Let's go race on the freeway, I think I can take you." I smile and said it's getting late and I had to get home. :-P
So we wave goodbye going about 30mph and he punches it, takes off like a bat outta hell...I woulda been oWNED *bad* from a roll and all the race gas and FMICs in the world wouldn't have helped. :-P
