Dead spot after shift?

Dead spot after shift?
Does the drive by wire throttle cause the "dead spot after you make a fast shift. To make a comparison, when you shift a typical high horsepower rear drive car quickly you will at least chirp the tires. When I shift the S4 quickly, I would expect at the very least a solid jolt to the drive train (not that you would want that). All I feel is a dead spot as if it takes some time after I mashed the throttle for it to actually add fuel. Just curious what others think.

I noticed a decrease in this "lag" when I installed aftermarket diverter valves. In my case Forge.
It feels like your back in the power more quickly after a shift.

haha, no I'm talkin' tire chirp here...
...no, I didn't yet, but want to. It's just that one after market mod has me on more of a "wait and see" how bad it gets alert rather than just dropping it off and saying, "here, take a look at this." Although, I did call my technician and he did say bring it by and he'll go for a test drive... he's already aware of my sitch so, I know "something" could be worked out. I may try to get it by him for a test drive this week. When explaining it to him on the phone, he was hesitant to comment as to what it might be, but thinks that he has heard it/of it before.

Hmmmm, if you had your e-mail posted, I would answer you.
Put it this way though... I always remember being able to get a chirp (if I wanted) through a turn or a fairly solid next gear hook-up and throtle/acceleration respones in a straight line.

Uprated BPV's helped with this...
and my car is stock (ECU wise).
But now that's it's getting fairly hot around here and 91 octane is all I can find for premium, this "lag" is showing up again.
