Dealer says Audi isn't building any 02 S4's. True? I can buy a 01 built 09/00 at a very good price.

it is a sold unit. sounds like your dealer wants to get rid of old stock. '02s were built from late May until the end of July; same as '01s but VIN says 2002.

Yes and no - 02s WERE made, but Audi is already done making them...
Audi <b>did</b> produce a 2002 S4.
However, production ended at the end of July, so the ones in the pipeline are the only ones that will be available - no special orders possible...

Get'em while you can. What they mean by that is there will be no
production of the S4 in it's current body style for 2002. It's my understanding that they will carry over the current body style into next year, but that production is going to stop in preparation for the new A4 and the next gen S4 sometime in 2003. NOt sure how accurate this is butit's what I have heard.
