u don't HAVE to do it ..that's your choise .. i would personally not do it that's all
you can run what ever you want .. you know that.
it's just not a good idea.
most people pay for the install = engine removal.. so doing that "often" might not be a great idea.

from what i understand it's a conservative/precautionary thing. if one fails then
the other may have been overworked trying to compensate leading to possible failure of the "good" turbo sooner rather than later in the future.
at the very least, you probably should have that turbo examined by someone like a Bloush to make sure it's not on it's last legs too before putting the engine back together.
