Do I need to swap original ECU back in for first service?
I am due for the first oil change in about a month. Do I need to swap out the APR ECU and put back the original or is it okay to leave in. Everything on the car si fine so I am not asking them to do anything but the first 7500 mile service. I also have the VAG tool to check if there are any fault codes before I take it there.
My APR has the fault code erase and the throttle adaption feature. Any thoughts?

I never take a chance
why risk it ? To me it's worth the 5 minutes to swap ECUs... There might be some database that ties VIN #s to original ECU serial #s or something. It's not worth the risk of them copping an attitude if they know I'm chipped. Depends upon the dealer I suppose, but mine's a pain in the *** about minor warranty stuff. I do need to get a VAG tool though...
