The cops aren't so good for getting your money back or getting the guy arrested

What they ARE good for is letting the ****bag know that you are serious about getting what you are owed. The ****bag usually gets back from his mother/father/son's funeral the same day he gets a knock on his door.

I haven't done much about it, though.
The only evidence I have is a chain of emails with his name, address, and a statement that he received my A-pillar.
I think he's done this before, so I'm hoping he'll come around again. Since I haven't given him money directly (although I did pay a chunk of change for the pillar), I'm not sure there's much I can do...

You obviously know where he lives....
I briefly read over a thread recently where something like this happened and a 'group' of people 'threatened' to go 'visit' a person who owed someone money. The person owing the money magically got in contact with the person owed the money and got them their money.
If it doesn't work out in a day or two, post up the city he lives in and hopefully we can get something organized. I don't know you but can empathize with your situation and would be more than happy to travel somewhere around the Ohio area. I live in Columbus and am going to Akron for a wedding next weekend. I have friends all over Ohio that I could use excuses to go visit. This should be able to be a place where people can trade freely and not be worried about getting ripped off and unfortunately this may be the only solution to these problems. I've seen this done on other boards and it works. He should have already given you the money. A few more days is more than enough time to at least let you know what's going on if he did have some kind of emergency.
