Do you need to remove the parking brake handle to get the arm rest assembly out?

Default Do you need to remove the parking brake handle to get the arm rest assembly out?
Trying to run some wires from front to back. Removed the two screws on the outside, the one from under the 'cup holders', and two from under the ash tray. But, how do I get it off with the parking brake handle in there?

Default Then you will read: remove the leather handle cover.
there is a plastic clip you undo underneath it to loosen the leather handle cover.
