Does anybody knob if the shiftknobs from the New Golfs (UK/Europe) fit our S4?

Does anybody **** if the shiftknobs from the New Golfs (UK/Europe) fit our S4?
Would anybody know if they simply screw on or not? Want to know if it would fit the S4.

Well i'm actually referring to the accessory (specifically the CF) *****. They look great so I was
wondering if they would fit. I can order one from the UK and put it on

VW's use a crimped on ****,,,, under the boot the rod has a groove machined in it with a crimp band
squizing a plastic compression ring holding it down,,, this was on the oem *****, I can't say for sure what the VW accesories catalog pieces have, they might be held on with set screws for ease of installation. If it is like the original equipment, my guess is might get it on, but there will be no way to hold it down with out machining a small grove for the plastic compression to lock into. Though we did thi son a Corrado shifter to accept an MK4 **** and it wrks just fine. We just measured a stock setup to see where the cut should be and masked 2 straight lines and did it right in the car with a dremel, took all of 30 mins to get perfect.
