Default Does anyone have a picture of the stock drive train stabalizer?

I looked at mine the other day and I saw the bar under the tranny, but didn't see it attached anywhere. Is this normal?

Default There is no *stock drive train stabilizer*. however...

there are two -plates- that connect your subframe to the tranny, but they still allow for some tranny slop.

Default The arrow points to the stock lower tie bar. The red line is about where the DTS bar goes.

It's a bad angle, but it also attaches to the transmission with a rubber mount. Excellent work buy "Innovator" and all involved in development of the final product. It works very well. Some cars do not have the lower tie bar, so all the people that are worried about safety and transmission submarine, well if it can push that steel bar out of the way then it can certainly snap the DTS fasteners like a twig in the case of an accident.

AWE DTS look at the bottom pic...no bar.

No, only the DTS connects to the trans. The stock bar does not.

Nice pics...your tie bar remains attached, but the picture on AWE's site does not have it

That's not an S4 on the AWE site. Could be a 1.8T, Passat, A6...

Default If I had to venture a guess, body stability.

Probably makes the body stiffer.
