does anyone know when cingular is going GSM? their phones SUCK now

Don't know for sure. Probably not as the US never gets good phones...
The T68 is a world phone so if you have GSM service, you can plop in your SIM card and it'll work just fine. Might not get some of the more advanced features like MMS and WAP.

Not just their phones, but their service sucks too.
You go away from a major freeway and your screwed. Also don't even think of calling between 5pm-8pm because all circuits are busy.
